Slow Food is an international cultural movement

Born in Italy in Bra in the province of Cuneo in 1986, under the name of Arci Gola and aims to promote the right to enjoy the meal in a pleasant way, with natural ingredients and with the right timing.
Founded by Carlo Petrini as a response to the spread of fast food, junk food, and hectic habits, not only as food but also as modern life. Slow Food studies, defends and spreads the agricultural, food and wine traditions about every part of the world.
This cultural movement has committed itself to the defense of biodiversity, fighting against the massive agriculture and genetic manipulations.
Today it is a large international non-profit association committed to restoring the right value to food, respecting those who produce, in harmony with the environment and ecosystems, thanks to the knowledge still deposited in local territories and traditions.
We at Delicious Italian Food.org propose the philosophy of slow food trough eating with the right rhythms (those of the human body) avoiding fast food that produces a speedy rithm for a quicker, more frenetic and chaotic life without ever giving up the pleasure of a tasty food.
In our courses we offer classic Italian recipes in vegetarian and vegan versions as well as modern recipes.
